Yesterday, four members of the Erskine team (Phil, Greg, Glen and old man Colly) completed the Great Notts Bike Ride 50 mile route; cycling to Newark, then back to Nottingham into brutal headwinds that nearly killed us. So far we’ve raised over £1,000 for various charities. Our pain is captured in the GNBR Flickr set.

We’re thrilled to have our Frieze redesign featured in ILT’s 15 Great Examples of Web Typography list. We don’t usually link to lists, but we broke our backs getting Frieze’s type spot on, and worked with Paul Barnes, who co-designed the Guardian Egyptian font, so we had to.
