Erskine Design LLP is led by Simon Collison (AKA Colly) and Jamie Pittock, Erskine Design stands on its own two feet, but the Motherly embrace of the Erskine Corporation means we have access to unique resources beyond the scope of a traditional design agency. As lead web developer at Agenzia Ltd from 2002 to 2006, Colly worked on numerous web projects for record labels (Universal, Vertigo, and Poptones), high-profile recording artists (The Libertines, Dirty Pretty Things), and leading visual artists and illustrators (Jon Burgerman, Black Convoy, and Paddy Hartley). Colly also oversaw a production line of business, community, and voluntary sector web sites, passionately ensuring everything was accessible and complied with current web standards. A bit of a CSS know-all, his first solo book was published by US publishing house Apress in 2006, and he has co-authored other web books including CSS Mastery, Blog Design Solutions and Web Standards Creativity.
Erskine Design have close relationships with a number of well-respected associate designers, and we will typically put together a specific team for a specific brief, with the core Erskinites in the middle directing the traffic.
